The Bloodhound Project Learning Resources - 14 to 16 years

The BLOODHOUND SSC Education Programme provides these ideas for teachers to use when planning their lessons.

Teach STEM subjects with real world applications using our 1,000mph Land Speed Record Car as a hook, these activities are aimed at 14-16 year olds. Comprising of games, projects and whole lessons, bring topics to life using real data, role models and examples; following  KS4 specifications.


BLOODHOUND SSC Balloon Car Thrust Investigation.

UK Stage: Key Stage 4

Building and measuring the velocity of a balloon car, plotting velocity/time graphs to calculate acceleration, then using F=ma to estimate the thrust created by the balloon.
