The BLOODHOUND Education Programme has developed a range of resources ideas for teachers to use when planning their lessons for children aged up to 11 years old.
Use any of these to help you bring STEM subjects to life, with activities based on the BLOODHOUND Project. They correspond to the UK National Curriculum but can also be adapted to suit wider ages and abilities.

Expansion of air - Lesson ideas
UK Stage: Key Stage 2
The power units in BLOODHOUND SSC all use the principle of the expansion of gas when it is heated. We can do some simple experiments in the classroom to show and understand how the expansion and contraction of air happens, using glass drinks bottles, balloons, and hot water.
