Secondary	KS3 & 4	Geography, Science and Maths	BLOODHOUND SSC Desert Search

 

The Swansea University Geography Department have put this material on the homepage of their web-site, courtesy of Adrian Luckman,  and students are invited to consider the problems facing the BLOODHOUND team in the hunt for the right desert.

This cross curricular part of the BLOODHOUND SSC project will have interest for KS3 and 4 geography as well as KS3 science.

After looking at this resource, mathematics teachers may well consider using the measuring tool on Google Earth for topics such as ratio and proportion.
