Friday, 22 April, 2016

Explore the history of the World Land Speed Record, learn about the Team members who designed and built the BLOODHOUND Supersonic Car, and the science and engineering that makes it go! Available for ios (Apple) and Android devices.

The revenue generated for BLOODHOUND by this App is invested in the BLOODHOUND education programme.

Over 9000 teams from across the UK have signed up to our BBC micro:bit Model Rocket Car Competition at www.microbitmodelrocketcar.com (www.microbitmodelrocketcar.co.uk in Scotland). Students across the country are designing and building rocket cars from blocks of foam, fitting them with BBC micro:bits, which will enable them to record information such as acceleration and track their velocity. The Finals will take place at the Santa Pod Raceway on the 30th June 2016.

Use the App to get the inside track on how BLOODHOUND’s Engineers designed the Supersonic Car and optimise the performance of your model rocket car.
