The BLOODHOUND project was covered by Fifth Gear Web TV recently when Andy Green and Richard Noble visited Ash Manor School in Surrey to talk about supersonic cars with an enthusiastic class of 15 year olds.

Ash Manor School is a Specialist Technology College in Ash, Aldershot, Surrey. The school has a very proactive stance where STEM is concerned, engaging pupils from year 7 right through.

The engagement with STEM is driven by a highly enthusiastic Senior Management Team. Mr Pan Panyioutou first engaged with the BLOODHOUND Adventure at the D & T Show at the NEC last November. Since then, the school has been an enthusiastic supporter of the programme, so much so, that members of the Senior management team have joined the 1K Club.

Mr Panyioutou was awarded the "Outstanding Teacher of Design and Technology Award" at the DATA Awards, where Andy Green was presenting and it again highlights the schools committment to enthusing and inspring the next generation of STEM practitioners.

Watch the full interview with Richard - the item starts at just over 2 minutes into the programme on YouTube - or at the Fifth Gear website.
