Richard Noble’s first visit to Hakskeenpan took place with the lake bed flooded but that didn’t dampen his enthusiasm or urge to get to the track!

This also fitted in with the meeting of all the directorates of the Northern Cape Provincial Government in Upington that was bathed in sunshine and a not so cool 38°C.

The photo below shows all the attendees, including the chairman of the Bloodhound steering group Mr Kholekile Nogwili (centre front in Bloodhound shirt), the Mayor of Mier Municipality and Rudi Riek Bloodhound track boss (far left) braving the Sunday afternoon sunshine.
