Latest car news
This month the team has, among other things:
- taken the upper chassis back off the car and sent it out to be primed, ready for the final build, bonding and riveting.
- a successful test fit of the AMAD (aircraft) gearbox (picture above), which drives the hydraulics and will generate AC and DC power for the car…
- ... which means that the AC generator, which pumps the fuel, now works.
And the fin assembly fixture has arrived!

BLOODHOUND Inspires
One of our younger fans, Xander, built this excellent Lego Scalextric car. After some trial and error he discovered it didn’t go around corners as quickly as the regular racing cars! Thankfully the real BLOODHOUND will only be running in a straight line. If you or your children have been inspired by BLOODHOUND to create something we’d love to see pictures so send them to us at website@bloodhoundssc.com
