• Sub-Arctic youth expeditions leader 1970-81 (Labrador, Svalbard, Iceland x3)
• 28 years as mountaineering and outdoor pursuits instructor, RAFVR.
• GCE / GCSE / IB examiner for Science, Key Skills, Young Enterprise, Citizenship, Geography at 5 Examination Boards.
Link with BLOODHOUND SSC project:
• Provide link between Bloodhound and MoD educational resources
• Advise on input of BLOODHOUND materials to maths, science, geography and citizenship lessons to MoD’s “Defence Dynamics” educational website
• Promote STEM subjects, endeavour, national pride, teamwork through school visits and teacher meetings
• Provide positive PR for RAF through promoting work of BLOODHOUND driver.
• Contribute to marketing of Bloodhound through work with BLOODHOUND Engineering Team and partners
