Are you currently at school in the UK and want to be involved with Bloodhound SSC? Using Delcam’s ArtCAM software you can enter your own design for Bloodhound plaques that will be awarded to schools around the country.
Objective
Design a Bloodhound SSC brass plaque
Challenge
Use CADCAM (Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing) software from Bloodhound’s sponsor, Delcam, to create a 3D design for brass plaques to be awarded to Bloodhound Hubs, Bloodhound Teaching Schools and Bloodhound Schools. Clipart relief files are provided to help you get started but you can create your own reliefs if you wish!
The competition is separated into 3 education segments:
- Bloodhound Hub Plaque Design: College Students / Sixth Form Students
- Bloodhound Teaching Schools Plaque Design: Secondary School Students
- Bloodhound Schools Plaque Design: Primary Schools

Prizes
The 3 winning designs will be manufactured onto brass plaques awarded to every Bloodhound Hub, Teaching School and Bloodhound School in the UK in recognition of their involvement with the Bloodhound SSC Education Programme.
Submitting Your Entry
Save your design in ArtCAM as a .RLF (relief) file and provide it to your teacher. Teachers will then submit the designs from their school to Bloodhound and Delcam to decide upon a winner.
