BLOODHOUND SSC evening at Bristol Grammar School

Monday, 17 May, 2010 - 11:42

Over 120 students, teachers and parents attended a recent BLOODHOUND SSC evening at Bristol Grammar School that was organised by science teacher Dr Carrie Rosser.

The presentation was supported by education team members Krishan Meetoo and Dave Rowley with an input on the role of Bloodhound Education Ambassadors from 1K Club member, Richard Phillips.

The school signed up to the education programme in November 2008 and the Bristol Grammar School name will be appearing on the tail fin of the car.

and another 1,000 balloon cars

Monday, 14 September, 2009 - 14:39

The BLOODHOUND Team and Education Ambassadors took the show car to a hangar in Wiltshire over the weekend of 12th and 13th September - it was the Science Museum's Festival of Innovation. The show car was the centre of attraction, placed right in front of a Constellation aircraft, and very soon the Education Team and Ambassadors were extremely busy helping children (and parents!) building and testing the BLOODHOUND balloon car.

The BLOODHOUND Project’s mission is to share our 1,000mph Engineering Adventure and inspire children and young people by bringing science, technology, engineering and mathematics to life in the most exciting way possible. To help us do this, we are supported by an amazing team of volunteers, known as BLOODHOUND Ambassadors.
