An Ambassador’s Lot

Friday, 3 August, 2012 - 11:36

Bloodhound Ambassador Roger Hoyle has sent us this report about his first hand experience of Bloodhound exciting young people.

When Dave Rowley asked me to get in touch with Louise Sinclair last autumn it was a jump in the dark, and I didn’t know what to expect.  I thought I might be helping some students to build balloon cars, but little did I know that a few months later I would be presenting certificates and giving a talk as Guest of Honour at a school assembly!

Copley Junior School

Thursday, 1 March, 2012 - 14:50

Ambassador Nick Naylor has been to Copley Junior School in Doncaster and has received this report back from Rob White. Pictures reproduced with permission from the Headteacher.

THE LAND SPEED record could be under threat in 2013 with a new car looking to break the 1000 miles an hour barrier, students learned today.

Pupils at Copley Junior School in Sprotbrough were treated to an interactive presentation from the Bloodhound Project detailing their new supersonic car’s impressive statistics.
