Webcam of the mock up build

We've been tracking the progress of the mock-up build so you can see how the car's coming together. Click on the images below for some time-lapse footage of BLOODHOUND coming together.

The last week of February saw a lot of action in the UWE RAMP lab. Workshop Manager Chris Dee takes down the first temporary mock-up build, then rebuilds it more securely ready for the 1K Club Open Day on the first of March. On the left of the picture, you can see the cockpit mock-up built by the UWE students, and on the right is the EJ200 jet engine packed away in its case.

Week commencing 9th March, and the view from the second webcam shows the blue foam mock-up of the jet engine has now been installed. Chris busies around preparing for the launch of Bloodhound @ University on Wednesday 11th March – you can see the covers coming off the jet engine, the doors opening and lots of visitors (see a report on the day here). The rest of the week is fairly quiet with one or two visitors.
